My first MMA cover
For those of you in the UK -- pick up March's issue of Fighters Only magazine. My photo of Kimbo Slice made the cover! This is my first MMA photo on a cover. I'm fairly new to sports photography -- my background is in cinematography/videography and production stills. It's been a nice transition from film/video production to MMA. Big thanks to Hywel Teague, the editor of Fighters Only, whom I respect very much as a photographer and purveyor of MMA knowledge.
So pick one up if you see it. The magazine is one of the best written magazines on the sport today. It has a nice layout, good quality articles, and the editor is tops!
And don't forget to tune into Showtime on February 16th to check out Kimbo Slice vs Tank Abbott!
I'm particularly excited about seeing Kyle Noke's second fight with EliteXC, Antonio Silva vs Ricco Rodriguez, and Yves Edwards vs Edson Berto.

Sorry about the lack of updates and pictures but the uploader still doesn't work on my Mac or any of the other macs in the office.
Promise I'll be posting more soon -- once the new uploader is implemented, but until then, check out all my sets here:

More to come and keep checking back for my BEST OF 2007!
Thanks for reading (and viewing, I guess!) and have a wonderful, swell New Year.
Much love from your ProElite photographer,
Esther

My Pics from King of the Cage

Here are some highlights from KOTC this past weekend. Check out my "stuff" for more pictures from King of the Cage this past Sunday, at the Soboba Casino.
Some highlights:
In the battle of good vs evil, or goodish vs evil, evil won.
Below, "Lil" Sal Farnetti grabs the cage.
Above, this guy who just lost to Paul Arras (please forgive me, I lost my fight card) took down Ref Herb Dean after the fight -- a bit disoriented. He apologized profusely. Herb was unfazed.
Check back in a few days for more updates!
